# Shareable hiring reports

Intervieux can generate a shareable hiring report for a job as a single self-contained HTML file, branded with the employer's own look, showing the top 10 candidates as summary cards, with candidate email addresses deliberately left out since the file is meant to leave the building and be handed to someone outside the platform.

A hiring manager who doesn't have an Intervieux login still needs to see who's in the running. Screen-sharing the pipeline works in a meeting but leaves nothing behind afterward. A report built to be downloaded and forwarded solves that without pulling someone else into the ATS.

## What it does

For a given job, the report pulls the ranked applications, builds a summary band with the numbers a hiring manager wants first, and generates a card per candidate for the top 10, each showing the candidate's name and the details relevant to comparing them. The whole thing is one HTML file, no separate assets to keep together, no server-side PDF pipeline. It's built to be opened directly, printed to PDF from a browser, or forwarded as-is. Candidate emails never make it into the file. Once the report leaves Intervieux, there's no way to reach out to a candidate directly from it, which is deliberate.

## How it works

1. **Pull the ranked applications for a job** — The report generator loads a job's applications and the ranking already computed for them, rather than requiring a separate export step first.
2. **Build the top-10 candidate cards** — The ten highest-ranked candidates each get a card summarizing who they are and how they compare, styled consistently with the employer's branding.
3. **Assemble one self-contained file** — Header, summary band, candidate cards, and footer are all written into a single HTML document, nothing external to load and nothing that breaks if the file is moved somewhere else.
4. **Download and share it** — The file downloads directly and can be opened in any browser, printed to PDF, or emailed to a hiring manager or stakeholder who was never given Intervieux access.

## No candidate email, by design

This report is meant to travel outside Intervieux to people who aren't recruiters and shouldn't be contacting candidates directly. Leaving email addresses out of the file removes the risk of a stakeholder reaching out to a candidate on their own, outside the process the recruiter is running.

## Self-contained means portable

Because the report is one HTML file with nothing external, it opens the same way whether it's sitting on a desktop, attached to an email, or printed. There's no separate image folder or stylesheet that can go missing along the way.

## Built for printing, not just viewing

The layout includes CSS specifically for print output, so candidate cards and summary stats don't get cut in half across a page break if someone prints the report or saves it to PDF from their browser.

## It reflects the same ranking already running in the pipeline

The report doesn't rank candidates on its own, separate logic maintained just for this feature. It pulls the ranking already computed for that job's applications, the same ordering a recruiter would see inside the pipeline, so the top 10 in the report match what the pipeline itself considers the strongest candidates at the time the report is generated.

## Generated per job, on demand

A report is built for one specific job at a time, pulling that job's current applications and ranking rather than aggregating across every open role. That keeps a shared report focused on a single hiring decision, which is usually what a stakeholder outside the recruiting team actually needs to see.

## Who this is for

This is for handing a snapshot of a job's top candidates to a hiring manager, department head, or other stakeholder who needs to see who's in the running but doesn't have, or need, direct access to the ATS or a way to contact candidates on their own. It also works as a lightweight record to keep after a role closes, a self-contained file that still opens and reads the same way months later, without depending on the pipeline it was pulled from still being in the same state.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does the hiring report include candidate contact information?

No. Candidate email addresses are intentionally left out of the report. It's built to be shared outside the platform, and keeping contact details out prevents a stakeholder from reaching out to a candidate directly.

### How many candidates show up in the report?

The report shows the top 10 ranked candidates for the job as individual summary cards, along with a summary band of overall numbers for that job.

### Is the report a PDF or an HTML file?

It's a single self-contained HTML file, no server-side PDF generation. It can be opened directly in a browser, or printed to PDF from there, since the layout includes print-safe styling.

### Can I brand the report with my company's look?

Yes. The report renders with the employer's own branding, consistent with how the rest of the platform's shareable artifacts are branded for that employer.
